If you’d like to orchestrate some romance over Valentine’s Day weekend, you’re in luck, with the city’s major orchestra and a suburban ensemble both presenting programs that aim for the heart:

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra plays a pops program, “From the Heart — Valentine’s Day,” featuring pianist-vocalist Tony DeSare, conducted by Michael Krajewski. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. $25-$89. Symphony Hall, 1280 Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta. 404-733-5000, aso.org.
