Mary Hood or Cat Cora? Lynn Cullen or Jamie Brickhouse? Now that the full schedule has been released, those are the kinds of tough decisions book lovers will be making at the AJC Decatur Book Festival Sept. 4-6.

Meanwhile, free tickets to the festival’s keynote and kidnote events will be released at 10 a.m. Aug. 11.

The keynote event, featuring a conversation between “Fear of Flying” author Erica Jong (pictured) and “Bad Feminist” author Roxane Gay, will be 8 p.m. Sept. 4 at Emory University’s Schwartz Center. Required for admission and limited two to a person, tickets may be obtained at the Schwartz Center, A Cappella Books, Charis Books & More, Eagle Eye Books, Tall Tales Books and Little Shop of Stories. For a $4 processing fee, tickets may be ordered at 404-727-5050 or tickets.arts.emory.edu.

The kidnote speaker is Judy Schachner, creator of the “Skippyjon Jones” picture book series. Tickets to the event, which is 5 p.m. Sept. 4 at Decatur High School’s Performing Arts Center, are limited to four per person and may be obtained at Charis Books & More, Eagle Eye Books and Little Shop of Stories.
